Leadership Development
Working together to develop inspiring leaders
Hybrid working: a challenge or an opportunity? Whatever your view, it’s brought dynamic change to our workplace – and it’s here to stay. So what now for your leadership development? How do you ensure your people thrive in this diverse environment, building capability and unlocking the potential of your teams?
At JGA, we can help. We enable leaders in employee-owned and values-driven organisations to lead effectively, at both a cultural and operational level – with our Leadership Development support.
Experienced and open, we equip leaders with the skills and knowledge to engage and inspire teams as co-owners. We create leaders who understand why the ability to manage is also a key role of leadership, making your difference a part of your strength.
What do we do?
In our initial session, we clarify your leadership development needs and the outcomes you want. Drawing on this insight, we create bespoke workshops run by qualified facilitators with first-hand experience of leading co-owners.
Our modular Leadership Development programme focuses on the must-have leadership behaviours and skills. We unlock progressive, sustainable, whole person change so leaders understand their behaviour’s impact – and how to adapt it. Future development needs are identified, such as targeted coaching and mentoring support.
What do you gain?
You become a more effectively-led organisation, with improved metrics around profit, productivity, recruitment and retention. Your leaders understand how to engage, inspire and enable co-owners (and other values-driven workforces) to embrace the opportunities this creates.
Agile and confident, they can evaluate their own effectiveness, give and receive feedback and reap the benefits of coaching for themselves and their teams.

What does succession mean to you?
Increasingly, owners are transitioning their business to employee ownership to address ownership succession. But, for many, leadership succession remains a challenge because – while there are many programmes that develop core leadership skills – few equip people to lead an organisation. And none prepare leaders to lead an employee-owned organisation.
At JGA, we can help. We have joined forces with Telos Partners to design and create the How to be an empowering leader or manager in an EO business, with input from the Employee Ownership Association and employee-owned businesses. Bookings for this residential course are managed through the EOA, and you can register via their website.
